The Televergence Brand History

 

As the owner, founder, and CEO of Televergence, I’d like to share with you the history of our brand.

I began my telecom career in the eighties with the breakup of the Bell Telephone dynasty. More than 33 years ago, I started Televergence and became the 1st female CEO of a telecom carrier in a highly male-dominated industry.

Throughout the decades, the brand has evolved to take advantage of opportunities, meet market needs and regulatory requirements. Today, we are a STIR/SHAKEN compliant, nationwide Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) company specializing in voice services and platforms for contact centers and other high volume business customers.

I attribute the success of our David and Goliath story to my learning, at the young age of 12, a philosophy that would guide my personal and professional life. While babysitting in my neighborhood to earn pocket money, I’d complete other chores to help the parents – laundry and ironing, dusting, washing dishes, vacuuming. Impressed that I’d gone “above and beyond”, the parents shared this story and I developed a very favorable neighborhood reputation.

It is not surprising that many of our customer testimonials make reference to the Televergence teams going “above and beyond”.  With more than half of our revenue derived from customers who have been with us over 12 years, this philosophy and its impact on customer retention, along with substantial cost savings, are our primary differentiators.
